This course is open to all persons who are interested in teaching fencing.

Fencing masters' academies in a number of countries offer national courses, which are recognized by
the AAI. In the past, persons from countries without academies had to join one of these academies to obtain an AAI diploma. It is now possible to get a qualification directly from the AAI by attending the international courses.
The curriculum of the AAI offers four levels:
Animateur
Moniteur
Prévôt
Maître d'Armes

Previous experience will be recognized if verified by appropriate records. During the course we will
evaluate each participant's level and suggest the appropriate examination. Members of National
Academies wanting to take an examination need their academy's approval.
